Crown Market Login

The login page is the first place a fake takes your password. A copy of the market does not need to be good at selling anything; it only needs a form that looks right. Check the address before you check your credentials.

What you land on

The queue first, then the storefront. The login form asks for a username and a password. Nothing else is needed to get in: no email confirmation, no captcha from a third party. If the form asks for more than those two fields, stop and look at the address again.

The order

1. The address in the URL bar matches a current one character by character.
2. The page looks like the market you expect.
3. Only then do you type your details.

A clearnet page asking for a Crown login has no business with your password. If the address check fails, the form is not the market's, no matter how right it looks. The order matters because the form is the bait and the address is the only thing that proves whose bait it is.

New account

Pick a username and a password that you have not used anywhere else. Add a recovery email if you want one; it is optional. Turn on 2FA for the wallet, because that is where the money actually sits, and a login without it is one step from a wallet without you.

Forgot it

Recovery runs through the code or email you saved at signup. The market does not email your password to you, and a page offering to "reset" it before you verified the address is not the market.
